Commit to Stay Fit

It's been two months since many of you made the commitment to get fit and by now, experts say it should be a part of your daily routine. A London study found it takes an average of 66 days for people to form a new habit. If you have trouble sticking to your goals, here's how you can. In the first 20 days, get help from others to keep you motivated. That may mean finding a workout partner like your friend or spouse to hold you accountable. In the next 20 days, stay focused on the reason why you decided to make that change. Write it down and keep it where you can see it every day. And in the last 20 days, keep your eyes on the prize and treat yourself to a reward. That reward could be new workout clothes, a concert, shoes… anything to keep that momentum going.
