If you have a bad soda habit, you may want to work on putting the sugary beverages down.
A new study published in the journal of the
American Geriatrics Society finds that soda drinking caused greater belly fat in adults ages 65 and older. The American Heart Association recommends adults drink no more than three 12 ounce sodas a week. In other health news, Kraft foods group voluntarily recalled more than 6.5 million boxes of Kraft macaroni and cheese due to possible metal pieces inside. The recall applies to the 7.25 ounce original flavor boxes with a use by date of September 18, 2015 through October 11, 2015 with a code labeled C2 directly below the date. Flu season is winding down and the numbers for the most flu cases are in. According to this year's Walgreens end of flu season report, the Weslaco-Brownsville-McAllen-Harlingen area ranked number two in having the most flu activity.
