Fats have always gotten a bad wrap, but medical experts are changing their opinion.
In the past doctors have said that saturated fats---the ones commonly found in meat, whole milk, ice cream and butter---should be severely limited, but it is okay to assume them in moderation. One fat you should avoid is trans fat. On packages they're called hydrogenated oil or trans fat. And studies show that trans fats are bad for your heart. Monosaturated fats found in olive oil is a healthy fat, it promotes heart health and should be eaten more often
