The author, Doctor Ian Myles says his research shows poor dietary habits may be coded into our DNA every person has microbes in their bodies called gut flora. It affects the way we process what we eat.
Gut flora is inherited through the mother and studies have shown that what pregnant woman eats can affect a child's food preferences.
This study also shows that a father's bad diet may create a cellular memory in the DNA passed on to a child.
Which means ad's burger and fries diet may be passed on the same way as hair color. a poor diet can lead to a slew of health problems, like diabetes, heart disease and kidney and liver issues.
