Kraft is recalling 1.2 million cases of cottage cheese that could potentially spoil prematurely. The recall is a precautionary step to prevent the cause of potential poisoning and food illness. The Kraft Foods Group says ingredients that are used in nearly three dozen cottage cheese products were not kept at proper temperature standards at its California facility. The recalled product codes date from May 9th to July 23rd and were distributed across the U.S. Daily Chef, Simply Kraft, Knudsen Cottage Cheese and Breakstone's Cottage Cheese were among the recalled brands. Production has been halted for these products and Kraft is working on fixing the problem Consumers with these products should not eat them, but return them to the store for a full refund.
